Share your thoughts about Michael Jackson

Dear bloggers,

Last week, Matt shared his thoughts on the passing of Michael Jackson.

This week’s news has been dominated by reports about Mr. Jackson’s funeral and the investigation into his death.  Many of his fans have expressed the view that the news coverage has been unfairly negative.

Since Matt has mentioned Michael Jackson on several occasions on the Blog, and since we have discussed the link between Jackson’s “Black or White” music video with the idea of tolerance and world peace—we were wondering what your thoughts are on the King of Pop’s passing.

Please let us know!

Were you a fan?

What did you think of his talent, voice, dancing, and efforts to blend musical styles and obliterate racial stereotypes?

Has the tragic element overshadowed his brilliance?

And do you believe the news coverage of his death has been biased?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!

P.S.:  Stay tuned for a special update forthcoming from Matt about his amazing week of honors, events, and activities in Europe!

Mr. Lamb, I thought Michael Jackson was an incredible dancer, maybe even a dancer than a singer.  This leads me to wonder about how dance and song relate to paintings.  When you are making your art, do you feel more like you are dancing or singing?
