"Salt & Pepper" #5

If you’re flunking some of your classes, maybe you don’t really want to learn that subject..

Try something else!

You might make a better barber than a brain surgeon.

We need more barbers anyway.

In fact, we have more hair than brains.

There are very few brains around worth saving, but there’s always hair to be cut.

I definitely agree with your "Salt & Pepper" #5 advice. Too many people take classes or go into careers because it's the family business or because it's been recommended by a friend or because it's the "right" thing to do. It seems as though if they had followed their passions, they'd be happier, less stressed, and better in their classes and their jobs - even if they don't make as much money as brain surgeons. A lot of things in life are much more important than money. Thanks for reminding us of this, Matt.
