writes to thank Matt for posting his watershed dream of Thanksgiving Night 2008.

Tamara also mentions a quantum physics theory she has heard, positing that every three weeks, every electron on the planet Earth crosses paths with every other electron.  This, Tamara suggests, shows the interrelatedness of all things on the planet, including the effects of positive change.

Matt responds:

Tamara,I think your quantum physics analogy of an idea passing throughout the whole universe is very exciting.

I believe what we’re doing with our discussion of the dream is filling in the blank piece of paper that will be the beginning of the New Los Alamos:  the coming-together of peace-makers to figure out how we will write the primer for peace.

When I first started talking about the New Los Alamos, I thought it was a blank piece of paper.  But as I see all the insights that people have given to the dream I had, it occurs to me that possibly the dream was the Big Bang to start the opening of the gates of people’s minds:  an impetus to start the ideas rolling around inside of all of us, and articulating them so we can all take a look at the vision, write it down, and then sort it out in some fashion.

So thank you and everyone else who has contributed to this manifestation of many people thinking about the same thing and coming up with new and different directions.  It’s very exciting.

The blank page will turn into a filled page, then two pages, and the book will keep getting longer and more complex, and maybe we’ll even start creating a foundation for the new building that we’re buildling.
